Noordhoek (Capri) is one of Cape Town's most picturesque suburbs and is blessed with long beaches and scenic drives (Chapman's Peak). However, it's a little-known secret that recent commercial development has enabled the area to grow in terms of noteworthy office space. The area is situated at the far north corner of the west coast of the Cape Peninsula, hence the name aptly translates to North Corner in the Dutch language.

If one wishes to travel to Cape Town's central business district from Noordhoek, its believed to be roughly 30 to 40 minutes travel time and is 30 km to 45 km depending on which route is chosen. The Cape Town International Airport is just over 40 km away from Noordhoek, and its believed to take roughly 40 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic. 

Transport

There are a few municipal and national bus companies who travel to Noordhoek including the Intercape Bus service or the Golden Arrow municipal bus service. Alternatively, those who need to commute to Noordhoek can do so using the minivan taxi service that operates throughout Cape Town or private transportation. 

Malls/ Shopping

Due to the fact that Noordhoek is a small place, most of the shopping is limited to smaller family-run stores. However, one can also shop at the Longbeach Mall, Noordhoek Farm Village or the Sunvalley Shopping Centre.
